How it works

Fifty statements, each answered on a four-point scale from definitely agree to definitely disagree. Standard research scoring: one point per statement answered in the keyed direction, for a total out of 50. This is the Autism-Spectrum Quotient developed by Baron-Cohen and colleagues (2001) at the Autism Research Centre, University of Cambridge.

Reading your result

In the original study, the general-population average was 16.4 and the autistic-group average was 35.8; 80% of autistic participants scored 32 or higher, and 26 is a commonly used screening cutoff. The AQ is a screening measure, not a diagnosis. This test is not graded and does not affect your Scoreborn GPA.

Your Scoreborn GPA combines every graded test you take.
