WHAT SCOREBORN IS
Scoreborn is a self-measurement benchmark, built for entertainment and personal curiosity. Scores, percentiles, tiers, and the Scoreborn GPA are game-derived numbers, they are not medical, psychological, educational, or employment assessments, and they do not diagnose intelligence, health, ADHD, autism, or clinical ability. Scoreborn is inspired by science rather than being science: its tests descend from research paradigms, but its scores are game-derived and are not intended to be scientifically accurate — the aim is for them to be meaningful, not clinical. Self-report instruments hosted on Scoreborn (including the Autism-Spectrum Quotient and personality questionnaires) are screening and self-reflection tools intended for ages 16 and up; they are not diagnoses, and a qualified professional is the right path for clinical questions.
TERMS OF SERVICE
The service is provided as-is, without warranty. Tests, scoring curves, and features may change or reset, including leaderboards, as the project develops. There is no pay-to-win: performance is determined solely by ability.
Use one account and play tests yourself. Score submissions are validated server-side (bounds, timing, and run checks) and anomalies are logged; scores produced by automation, exploits, or tampering may be removed, and accounts that abuse the service, the chat, or other players may be restricted or closed. Chat messages pass an automated filter and can be hidden after user reports.
Credits are virtual points with no monetary value, meant to be accumulated through play. They can be earned, spent, and lost inside the service (including at the poker table), and certain in-game items may be offered in exchange for credits. Credits cannot be purchased with money or redeemed for money, and may be adjusted if produced by error or abuse.
Purchases, if and when Scoreborn or its shop offers physical or digital goods, are processed by third-party payment and fulfillment providers (such as Stripe and Printful); Scoreborn never receives or stores card numbers. Sales terms, prices, and shipping details are presented at purchase.
These terms may change as the project develops; continued use after a change is acceptance of the current terms.
PRIVACY POLICY
Account data: when you sign up or sign in (by email link or Google), Scoreborn receives and stores your email address and an account identifier. Google sign-in shares your name, email address, and profile picture with Scoreborn, as listed on Google's consent screen; Scoreborn stores the email address.
Game data: your handle, avatar configuration, test scores and ratings, credits, GPA, friends list, and chat messages you send are stored in Scoreborn's database to run accounts, leaderboards, and chat. Your handle, scores, ratings, GPA, and chat messages are visible to other users. Lobby chat messages are retained for a limited period (currently about 48 hours) and then deleted; you can delete your own messages sooner, and block lists are private to you.
Contact form: messages sent through the contact page are stored with the email address you provide, and are used only to reply.
Share links: when you share a score, profile, or result, the link you create displays that handle and score to anyone who opens it. Sharing is always your action; nothing is posted on your behalf.
Device data: progress and settings are kept in your browser's local storage. Scoreborn serves no ads and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. Technical error reports (browser type, screen size, error text) may be sent to Scoreborn's database to fix defects.
Service providers: Supabase (authentication and database) and Vercel (hosting) process this data to operate the service. Scoreborn does not sell personal data.
Deletion and questions: email yo@scoreborn.com from your account email to request deletion of your account and its data, or to ask anything about this policy.
Scoreborn is not directed to children under 13.
CONTENT
Test formats descend from published research paradigms (reaction time, Stroop interference, digit span, n-back, and related tasks); Scoreborn's implementations, question banks, names, and design are original to Scoreborn.
