How Scoreborn works

Your GPA

Six graded cognitive tests unlock your GPA — a 4.00-scale grade built from your scores across reaction time, memory, IQ, typing speed, perception, and knowledge. Streaks, a filled profile, and banked credits raise it.

Credits

Every test pays credits: 100 × your GPA multiplier the first time you clear it (300 × on the IQ and personality tests), 25 × when you beat your best, 2 × for any run. Credits buy into Poker.

Head to head

Every score generates a challenge link — send it and a friend faces the same test against your number. Leaderboards rank every test worldwide; friends are highlighted in chat and on the boards.

Leaderboard

Your GPA is a performance benchmark, not a diagnosis. Every graded test feeds a domain (six core, two electives) so one lucky tap never defines your transcript. Percentiles show where you stand against the field.

THE METHOD

How the Scoreborn GPA works

THE NUMBER

The Scoreborn GPA is a score from 0.0 to 4.0. Each graded test converts its result to a rating from 1 to 99 on a fixed curve. Ratings feed six domains: fluid intelligence, crystallized intelligence, memory, speed, motor control, and perception. A test can feed more than one domain, with different weights. Each domain score is a weighted average of the tests that feed it. The GPA is computed from your domain scores. You need at least six graded tests to receive a GPA.

WHAT COUNTS

Different tests are counted differently. Some count your best result. Some count an average of your recent attempts. The IQ test counts the average of all attempts and is limited to two attempts per 30 days. Some tests have daily attempt limits. These rules exist to keep scores comparable between players.

PARTICIPATION

Test performance is the main input to the GPA. Completing the personality tests, maintaining a daily streak, earning credits, and marking favorites can also contribute.

ESTIMATED IQ

The profile shows an estimated IQ derived from test performance. Taking the IQ test replaces the estimate with your tested result. Estimates and percentiles are provisional: they are based on assumed distributions and will be recalibrated as real score data accumulates.

SELF-REPORTS

The type, Big Five, and neurotype instruments are self-report questionnaires. They describe you; they are not graded and do not measure performance. They are not clinical assessments.

TEST ORIGINS

Most tests are based on published research paradigms: simple reaction time (1880s), digit span (1887), the Stroop task (1935), the n-back task (1958), and the primate working-memory task from Kyoto University (2007).

SCOREBORN DOES NOT DIAGNOSE INTELLIGENCE, HEALTH, ADHD, OR CLINICAL ABILITY.
